ACCESS: From Dublin
heading to Carrick-on-Shannon you exit the N4 for
Drumsna/Jamestown. The access to the river is via a stile at the weir.
FACILITIES: Open bank
PERMISSION TO FISH: Not
required but please observe our country code
FISHERY DESCRIPTION: This
section of river
can produce good trout with sizeable fish present. The best
places are downstream of the weir. In
the past wild brown
trout up to 15lbs have been recorded.
