SALMON: Salmon fishery closed in 2010.

ACCESS: Access
is good at all road bridges.
FACILITIES: Open Bank, difficult in some areas
with bank cover
PERMISSION TO FISH: Not required for
trout fishing - observe country code
FISHERY DESCRIPTION: This fishery a tributary of Lough
Derg located south of Portumna. It can be a productive trout fishery best in the spring
time of the year March to May. It has varied river characteristics ranging
from some nice fast stretches ideal for
wet fly fishing to slower deeper pools where worm is often fished.
