various road bridges locally at Ballyfarnon and Keadew.

bank side is difficult in places.

FISHERY DESCRIPTION: The Feorish river
rises to the northwest of the village of Geevagh in County Sligo and
flows southwest to enter the river Shannon north of Derreen. There are a number of nice pools for fishing
along the river and the best of these can be found upstream and
downstream of Derreen bridge (R284) south of the village of Keadew.
