ESTABLISHMENT OF INLAND FISHERIES IRELAND - SEE PRESS RELEASE DATED JULY 1st, 2010

 OPEN SEASON: March 1st - September 30th.

SPECIES: Brown Trout averaging 1lb - 2lbs.

SIZE LIMIT:  10 inches.

DAILY BAG LIMIT: 5 Trout. 

ANGLING METHODS: All legal methods.

CLUB RULES: Club rules apply. They are as listed on the back of the permit Cavetown & Clogher Angling Club charge a membership fee of  €20 applicable for 2007 . Contact Sec Mrs Kit O'Beirne Tel: 071 9668037. 

ACCESS: Good off the north eastern shore at the Public Car park. 

FACILITIES: A number of stands are located around the lake close to the public road. Boat can be launched at public car park. One stand is custom built for disabled anglers.

PERMISSION TO FISH: Cavetown & Clogher Angling Club charge a fee. Contact Sec Mrs Kit O'Beirne Tel: 071 9668037.
