THE FISHERY

The Feorish River is a slow moving water which has its confluence on the Shannon at Tarmonbarry. It tends to weed up quite badly during high summer which limits angling at this time, best time spring and early summer (April & May). It holds quite a good stock of bream, roach and hybrids, with some tench to 5lbs.  

FACILITIES AND ACCESS

Access is good via a local road bridge. The Shannon Regional Fisheries Board provides a number of access stiles in the area to assist anglers.

TO GET THERE

The Fishery is located about 2 km to the west of Tarmonbarry, turning left off the N5 onto a local roadway. Continue up a narrow road to a  local road bridge.
