• All angling waters have there own regulations and anglers are advised to use the information provided on the relevant web pages describing those fisheries. Anglers should acquaint themselves with local regulations and any Bye Laws which pertain.

• When fishing avoid breaking down fences, walking through crops and leaving litter on banks.

• Wear a life jacket on or near water

• Be courteous and considerate to fisheries staff. Remember they are doing the job which you expect from them, looking after your interests and protecting the water you are fishing.

• Report any pollution and illegal activity to your local officer or report to Inland Fisheries Ireland's Shannon River Basin District at 061 300238

• IFI reserves the right to refuse or revoke a Permit to anyone violating Fishery Regulations
