COARSE FISHING GRADUALLY PICKING UP AS TEMPERATURES IMPROVE AND
THE DAYS LENGTHEN
Water levels are very low in the Shannon as we write. It's only now
that anglers are even thinking about coarse fishing as spring eventually
arrives!. Paul Waghorn will be be reporting on the fishing at Lanesboro
and also the River Inny down to Tommy Foxes, so watch out for these reports from
now on. Fishing has picked up a little at Lanesborough with mixed fish to 12ozs
being reported . A party had good mixed fishing also in the mid River Suck,
mostly hybrids and quality Roach. Cuisle Holiday Centre announce details of
local angling competitions and holiday breaks in the River Suck Valley for
anglers with disabilities. They have specialist facilities for those interested,
see main report.

September. He caught a small Trout recently. Better news
from Lanesborough, one session produced a small mixed bag of
fish to 12oz last week.
