Coarse Angling & Fisheries News Update Dated Wednesday January 6th, 2010
Photo: Brian Bohan with a few nice Bream. COARSE FISHING AT A STANDSTILL AS THE COUNTRY IS GRIPPED IN A BIG FREEZE Coarse fishing has been at a standstill for several weeks. The present big freeze has left canals, backwaters and some marinas frozen. Driving conditions are hazardous with temperatures struggling to rise above zero during daytime and dipping to as low as -12C in sheltered areas at night time. We wish to announce that the Irish Specimen Fish Committee have published their annual report 2009 on specimen fish verified over the year.
