Photo: No this is not Iceland or Canada, it's
Ireland during the big freeze in January, a rare scene, not seen in
Ireland in many decades. This angler decided to go ice fishing on Ballinafid Lake, Mullingar during the freeze up which saw air
temperatures drop to -12C.
NB: In the interest of your own safety, we do
not recommend that you go fishing on a frozen lake or river at
any time - thank you.
