LOCATION   Limerick City is located about 18 kms from Shannon Airport and is in the lower Shannon Region. See thumbnail map

WHERE TO FISH  

There are two main coarse angling venues on the Shannon in the immediate Limerick area i.e. at Annacotty (5 kms) from Limerick, Plassy (in Limerick City).  The Plassey stretch is on the Shannon near Limerick university.
