This small pond is 0.75 of an acre in area and is locally known as the 'Tench pond'. It is located 6 kms from Corofin, just off the Corofin/Tubber Road. It was developed some years ago by the Shannon Regional Fisheries Board as a Tench Fishery and over the years has recorded fish up to 7lbs. It is set in a beautiful location at the edge of the famous Burren.

FACILITIES AND ACCESS

There are two fishing stands, a stile and a small carpark. Access is good

TO GET THERE

Take the Tubber road out of Corofin for approximately 5 kms. Turn left at the cross roads and follow the signposts.
