THE FISHERY

Lough Cullaun a 60 acre lake is located 4 kms from Corofin on the Tubber road. It is primarily a Pike Fishery. It is a rich and productive limestone water and produces quality fish. Tench are present but difficult to exploit due to lack of angling structures. Water clarity is excellent as it flows from the Burren area.

FACILITIES AND ACCESS

There is a car park and Slipway. It is generally difficult to fish from the shore and a boat is essential to exploit this water fully. For boat hire contact Michael Cleary, Corofin. TO GET THERE

Take the Tubber road from Corofin for about 4 kms, turn left at the T junction and follow the signposts.
