This is a 40 acre limestone lake located a few kilometres from the village of Ruan and 6 kms from Corofin village. It is primarily a Pike Fishery and a boat is essential to fish this water. Boat hire can be arranged locally. 

FACILITIES AND ACCESS

.Access is difficult but possible by walking along the inflowing River Fergus bank.

TO GET THERE

From Corofin drive to Ruan village, turn left in the village, continue through next cross roads and take the next right and continue as far as the Fergus River. Park your car here and walk downstream with the river on your left hand side.
