This 60 acre lake is located outside the town of Ennis. The River Fergus flows through the lake. It is primarily a Pike Fishery but does have a fair stock of Tench, Rudd, Perch as well as Trout and Salmon in season. FACILITIES AND ACCESS Boats can be launched from a Slipway opposite the local food/convenience store. TO GET THERE From Corofin village take the road to Ruan village and continue in the direction of Ennis. The lake is visible to the right of this road.
