THE
FISHERY
This is a noted Tench fishery with specimen fish to over 6lbs present.
This 5 acre lake also has good stocks of Roach, Hybrids and Bream of
3lbs to 4lbs. The lake is shallow and gets quite weedy
particularly during the summer months.
ACCESS & FACILITIES
Fishing is
from a double fishing stand provided by the Shannon Fisheries Board.
TO GET THERE
From Carrick on Shannon
take the N4 south to the village of Drumsna taking the Strokestown road out of
the village. Continue on for a mile, keep left at the fork in the road and take
the next left to the fishery.
