THE FISHERY

The section of the River Shannon described here is located at Leitrim Village. This can be a very productive stretch in May and into early June. The area produces Bream, Roach and Hybrids. 

ACCESS & FACILITIES

Fishing is from 10 bank pegs where the Shannon Fisheries Board has 2 stiles and 1 footbridge  to facilitate anglers.  

TO GET THERE

From Carrick on Shannon take the Drumshanbo road north for 4 miles until you come to the village bridge.
