THE FISHERY

Headford is a small very shallow lake located about 1½ mile north east of the village of Drumsna. The lake has a good stock of fish but is hampered in summertime by the excessive weed growth.   

ACCESS & FACILITIES 

Access is across one stile though private land to one double fishing stand erected by the Shannon Fisheries Board. Please respect landowners property. 

TO GET THERE

From Carrick on Shannon take the N4 east in the direction of Drumsna. Take the slip road for Drumsna,  turn left and take the next right for about 2 miles which will take you to the lake on the right hand side, follow signposts.
