THE FISHERY

This is a 20-acre lake . It has very good stocks of  Bream to 4lb, Hybrids, Roach and Rudd. It also has a limited stock of good sized tench.  During the summer the margins can get very weeded and can be difficult to fish.

ACCESS & FACILITIES 

Access is poor. The Shannon Fisheries Board has 6 stiles and three footbridges on  this water, which is a shore only venue.  There are ten pegs on the eastern side of the lake.

TO GET THERE

From Carrick on Shannon take the N4 east (the new road layout on the N4), access is via the Dromod roundabout, take the third exit.  Travel for about half a mile and take the first right, continue over the railway line. The lake is located on your left about half a mile from here. The lake is sign posted.
