THE FISHERY

Shrule Bridge or sometimes referred to as White Bridge is a renowned location for roach fishing. The river is shallow and fast flowing and regarded as a good trout fishing stretch. In early May roach often congregate in large shoals. During this time a stick float works well or use the pole holding it back. During the 2008 survey of the River Inny, Chub were recorded at this location. 

FACILITIES AND ACCESS

Open Bank. Access is across private land and permission should be sought.

TO GET THERE

From Ballymahon -  past the meat factory - take the first road on the right about half a mile away. Continue on for another three quarters of mile to the bridge.
