THE
FISHERY
The River Inny here is located upstream of
Ballymahon. This is mainly a fast flowing stretch and is more associated

especially roach earlier in the year to May and slightly beyond
FACILITIES AND ACCESS
Open bank fishing. There are concrete
steps next to the bridge for canoe launching.
TO GET THERE
Take the Mullingar Road out of Ballymahon.
After about two miles, just before Forgnay Church, turn left and continue to the
road bridge and access to the river and access to the river at this point is on
the right hand side of the road.
